Core 4 Grants
LCIF Core 4 grants are available to Lions multiple districts
and sub-districts to support implementation of Lions Quest.
Core 4 grants can be used to translate and adapt curriculum
materials into a local language, conduct teacher training
workshops, and distribute Lions Quest materials to educators,
students and parents.
Lions Quest staff is available to help Lions prepare grant
proposals for submission, especially for new countries who
are attempting to begin the program. The Humanitarian Grants
Department of LCIF oversees the application process, as well
as the disbursement of funds and the review of progress and
final reports. Each grant requires a local match on the part
of the multiple or sub-district. Part of this local match
can be raised from outside sources, including from government
entities, local businesses, and non-governmental organizations.
Lions Quest Promotional Grant
Lions Quest Promotional Grants are available for up
to US$1,000 to Lions multiple and sub-districts to conduct
activities designed to promote Lions Quest in new countries
or regions. Applications are due on the first of each
month and are approved on a rolling basis. A maximum
of two Promotional Grants per fiscal year are allowed
within any multiple district.
