LCIF Lions Quest Grants

Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) supports the large-scale humanitarian initiatives of members of Lions Clubs International, the world’s largest service club organization with 1.35 million members in 208 countries and regions. Since 1968, the Lions Clubs International Foundation has awarded more than 11,000 grants to support Lions humanitarian community projects around the world. Service to youth has been a longstanding mission of LCIF, which has awarded more than 200 grants for a cumulative total of more than $13 million to expand or establish Lions Quest programs across 85 countries worldwide.

Lions districts and multiple districts are able to access three levels of grant funding to support local Lions Quest efforts.

These three levels can correspond to Lions progressive involvement in Lions Quest implementation.  Lions can utilize Lions Quest Promotional Grant funds to start promotion of the program in a new area to fellow Lions, community members, and/or educators through informational seminars.   Once interest is sparked in a community, Community Partnership funds may be leveraged to sponsor a pilot Lions Quest teacher training workshop while continuing to promote the program and build organizational partnerships locally for program sustainability.  If the program has proven successful during the foundational stages, Lions may apply for Lions Quest Core 4 grant funding to expand the reach of the program for their area.
