LCIF Lions Quest Grants
Core 4 Grants fund large-scale projects relating
to the Lions' four core service commitments: preserving
sight, combating disability, promoting health and serving
youth. Lions Quest Core 4 Grants are matching grants
available to multiple districts up to US$100,000 or
sub-districts up to US$25,000.
If you'd like more information about these grants,
available funds, or new Core 4 Grant applications, contact
the LCIF Humanitarian Grants Department, 630-571-5466
or 630-468-6969. Core 4 grant applications are considered
twice a year at the Lions Quest Advisory Committee (LAC)
Meetings in January and August. Core 4 grant applications
are due 60 days before these meetings; typically the

NEW - The Community Partnership Grant program
was created to give Lions districts and multiple districts
access to small amounts of funding that can be used
in a variety of ways that go beyond what is normally
allowed in the Core 4 Grant program. Community Partnership
Grants should be used to either start Lions Quest programs
in new areas, or reactivate dormant programs. Grants
are available for up to US$10,000 at a maximum of one
grant award per Multiple District per fiscal year. No
matching funds are required. Applications are due by
the first of each month, with approvals given within
sixty days, until funds are depleted.
